Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
Location: Preferred Brisbane, else Melbourne, Australia

Envirosuite is a rapidly growing organization in the mining space, with solutions to manage environmental impacts from their operations. Many of the top tier mining clients current use our solution, and we now looking to scale in this sector. Driving this growth requires a detailed understanding of the mining industry and a focus on scaling key mining clients into new operations. This role in critical in driving the overall growth of EVS Industrial by understanding the market and working with local and global teams to strategically acquire new clients and partnerships.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A successful candidate must have experience and a proven track record in developing and delivering a strategic sales plan within the mining sector in Australia. This role will assume overall responsibility and accountability for delivering against recurring revenue targets within the mining sector in Australia (and potentially APAC, where mining opportunities exist). Solutions are required to be designed in accordance with Envirosuite tools and processes. You will work within the regional APAC team to propose solutions that meet clients’ needs utilizing Envirosuite solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively engage in sales activities, including cold calling, lead generation, and client meetings.
- Deliver client specific sales presentation by understanding client challenges
- Design a strategic sales plan and focus account plans for key clients within the region
- Generate proposal and submit through Envirosuite approval process
- Negotiate and close contracts that are focused on driving Annual Recurring Revenue
- Ensure CRM is maintained up to date and forecast opportunities have a clear plan to closure
- Maintain detailed notes and reports to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and contract details in the CRM system.
- Efficiently manage time to focus on pipeline building, sales activities and driving opportunities to closure
- Work with Mining Subject Matter Expert to ensure high client satisfaction is delivered to mining clients within the region
- Develop and share best practices with team members to continually improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of our processes
- Develop and execute quarterly and annual strategic sales plans.
- Analyse sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive performance.
- Regularly review and report on sales performance, making data-driven decisions to meet targets.
- Operate with an entrepreneurial mindset, understanding the dynamics of working in a company with limited support.
- Exhibit independence and resourcefulness in achieving sales goals.
- Excellent multitasking and being able to follow sales process
- Understanding of Internet and web applications with a desire to learn new technologies
- Ability to understand contribute and articulate technical solutions to prospects.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
- Be a market analysis advocate while capturing customer feedback and reporting requests to Product Management and Development
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE
- 8+ years driving business development within the mining sector
- Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, Engineering) or other relevant sales experience in technical industries
- Experience selling complex solutions with the Australian Mining sector
- Ability to communicate product value and technical information in a clear and understandable manner to a variety of stakeholders

- Experience selling SaaS software and complex solutions is desired but not mandatory
- Prior experience in air quality management, dust mitigation systems or noise and vibration systems is desired

About the role
With extensive indigenous and historical archaeological expertise, you will utilise your skills to execute archaeological surveys and excavations as well as complete heritage significance assessments, management plans and reporting to the highest standard. The role will be an integral part of the talented senior NSW team, supported by their Brisbane head office. The Principal Archaeologist will help drive the company's expansion and growth in the NSW region therefore excellent internal and external stakeholder engagement and knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations is vital. The role will see you enjoy a mix of field and office-based work requiring you to prioritise tasks, effectively communicate with clients, be proactive with safety and work both as part of the cohesive team but also autonomously when required.
About you
You will need to possess a collaborative approach and a dedicated background as an Archaeologist, having worked extensively in similar historical and indigenous cultural heritage roles within New South Wales . Key skills and experience:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in similar cultural heritage or archaeology roles
- Postgraduate degree qualification in archaeology
- Significant Indigenous and historical archaeology experience
- Solid knowledge across areas such as property development, civil/ construction, mining, renewables, government and local councils' sectors in NSW
- Report writing, policy compliance, risk assessment, heritage searches and community consultation
- Supporting tenders, quotes and invoicing activities and ensuring budgets are adhered to
- Analytical, problem solving and time management skills coupled with strong leadership
- Understanding and knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations
- Undertake surveys and effectively maintain data and photographic records
- Well versed in the use of the Microsoft suite, GIS and design software packages

We are currently looking for a talented mining professional, someone with a proven open cut coal experience and a highly capable leader of technical services. You will work at an impressive open pit coal operation in Central Queensland, leading and developing a skilled multi-disciplinary team. Offering FIFO or DIDO options on an 8/6 roster, this is a crucial role that will play a key part in the success and profitability of this open cut operation and would suit an experienced Senior Mining Engineer or Mining Engineer to step up in their career.

You must have experience in leadership of diverse technical teams in an open cut truck and shovel mining environment. Exposure to a suite of mining related software will also be advantageous.
