Pivot have been directly approached by a dynamic and rapidly growing mining company to assist in sourcing a highly capable a Senior Reliability Engineer that are keen to forge a strong career within a highly successful business that boasts an attractive portfolio of mining assets.

About the role:

Fully utilise your in-depth mobile equipment knowledge, reliability methodologies, mechanical aptitude and technical engineering skills whilst working across the company’s site based mobile plant mining assets. You will lead the integration of industry best strategies to increase plant availability and reliability coupled with identifying and implementing improved technologies, processes, and procedures whilst working closely with the maintenance team.  Your proficiency at solving complex problems, positive attitude, mechanical prowess, and ability to communicate across all levels will see you add critical support to the mining operations and maintenance department. You will champion and lead a full range of maintenance improvement initiatives and work on an exciting variety of technology and engineering projects.

About you:

You will possess a dedicated maintenance and reliability background within mining environments having 5+ years relevant experience in a similar role, ideally across mobile mining plant equipment. You will have developed effective technical skills through delivering in roles that encompass maintenance planning, reliability (RCA FMEA), condition monitoring and project works. In addition to this you will need strong drive, excellent communication and well-developed computer skills that can add value to the broader business. You are passionate about what you do and possess relevant mechanical engineering qualifications and/or strong exposure at the trade level and have invested in yourself to learn and grow in the engineering space.
