About you:

Mobile Maintenance Planner

About the role:

Working within a focused and dedicated maintenance team you will be responsible for the planning and scheduling across the sites mobile mining assets. This pivotal role will support the projects broader maintenance program to ensure high plant availability. You will integrate with the maintenance teams and work closely with your department to help drive plant performance and maintenance strategy execution. 

About you:

Experience working with mobile mining equipment with a solid mine site background is critically important. Ideally you will have demonstrated short, medium and long term maintenance planning and scheduling experience utilising CMMS such as SAP or similar on open cut truck, shovel and ancillary equipment.

Key duties and accountabilities:

• Execute effective maintenance planning activities and strategy development
• Excellent communication skills between departments
• Drive fleet availability and performance whilst reducing downtime
• Experience and ability to deliver exceptional support and confidence to back up plan
• Manage resources, costs and associated requirements in line with planned work

Pivot are looking to appoint a highly capable and motivated Project Manager to become a critical member of the operations team within this expanding, high quality coal producer based at an impressive mine operation in the Bowen Basin.

About the role:

As the Project Manager you will have the responsibility of managing the overall site performance, safety and production targets of this mining operation. You will manage a team across all departments and drive company culture and business objectives to ensure the operation succeeds through an imminent expansion phase. The role is located in a convenient location for both residential, dido or fifo (Brisbane) options to the Bowen Basin.

About you:

Experience, passion, safety focus and technical knowledge are all key factors that will help you succeed in the role and deliver leadership to a diverse group of mining professionals. Previous project management experience in open cut coal operations coupled with an SSE qualification will be highly regarded. This will enable you to oversee a fleet of mobile mining equipment, ensure compliance to and management of the site contractual obligations and champion the safety and well being of all on site. A proven background in coal mining production with a comprehensive understanding of the coal mining act is a must.
