About the role:

Our client is an innovative North American based tech company within the industrial asset reliability and inspection sector. As the Sales Director you will be responsible for the delivery of growth within the business across Australia. Working closely with the senior management team to expand the market share, you will be accountable for the effective and efficient delivery of the sales process, qualifying strategic business opportunities, customer generation, relationship building and getting deals done!

About you:

Coming from a demonstrated sales background within the Oil and Gas sector, you will bring an excellent network of key business stakeholder contacts and be able to seamlessly foster mutually beneficial business relationships. Your track record of achieving successful sales outcomes and delivering tailored solutions to clients will see you thrive in this role. You will have the ability to work autonomously whilst being proactive and capable of taking ownership of your position. You will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills whilst being a cultural leader and mentor for the team.

Key duties and accountabilities:

  • Identify, qualify and convert sales prospects with high level negotiation and commercial skills
  • Technical experience asset integrity / reliability sectors with the ability to deliver training and explain the product
  • Demonstrated ability to lead tenders/ proposals and provide accurate reporting against sales targets
  • Drive sales and marketing projects 
  • Deliver outcomes in a safe and productive manner
  • Champion safety and wellbeing of all employees
  • Engage with the company’s values and way of working
