Project Manager - Mine Production

Pivot are looking to appoint a highly capable and motivated Project Manager to become a critical member of the operations team within this expanding, high quality coal producer based at an impressive mine operation in the Bowen Basin.

About the role:

As the Project Manager you will have the responsibility of managing the overall site performance, safety and production targets of this mining operation. You will manage a team across all departments and drive company culture and business objectives to ensure the operation succeeds through an imminent expansion phase. The role is located in a convenient location for both residential, dido or fifo (Brisbane) options to the Bowen Basin.

About you:

Experience, passion, safety focus and technical knowledge are all key factors that will help you succeed in the role and deliver leadership to a diverse group of mining professionals. Previous project management experience in open cut coal operations coupled with an SSE qualification will be highly regarded. This will enable you to oversee a fleet of mobile mining equipment, ensure compliance to and management of the site contractual obligations and champion the safety and well being of all on site. A proven background in coal mining production with a comprehensive understanding of the coal mining act is a must.

• Develop strong relationships internally and externally across all levels
• Deliver outcomes in a safe and productive manner
