Maintenance Manager - Mobile

• 9 day fortnight

About the role:

We are currently recruiting an engaging, dynamic and highly capable Mobile Maintenance Manager with a proven track record of delivering results in the mining sector. Working with a well-established and growing company, this large mining operation offers world class facilities, a modern ultra class fleet, highly attractive QLD lifestyle and a challenging role for you to bring your mine site mobile mining equipment and leadership experience to. The position will focus on providing robust leadership, engagement, direction and support to the existing, professional site-based maintenance team across the fleet of large surface mobile mining equipment.

About you:

To be considered you must demonstrate:

• 5+ years’ maintenance experience in senior leadership positions in mining, 
• Supervision and overall management of a maintenance team on mobile/ field mining equipment
• Excellent safety knowledge and focus
• Ability to lead, engage with and drive improvements across a multi-disciplinary team to achieve project targets/ KPI’s. 
• Ability to work closely  with other departments on site to ensure adherence to site safety, operating procedures, regulations and foster strong working relationships. 
• The ability to drive and implement world class short and long-term strategic plans and management of budgets. 
• Relevant trade qualifications 
• Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering or similar, but this is not essential.
